To be honest, truthful. This is usually period in sports games. They are getting ready for the transition to the next gen. At the same time the next gen version is ok at best as well, just wanting the product to be available. They really don't start spittin the ether until next year, because they have a full year under their belt to understand what they can do with the X1 and PS4.

if NBA live comes correct it might be the best game on next gen since they should have had more time and resources to focus on one project.

This is true. If one takes a step back, EA ain't that bad with sports games, if by sports games you mean "Madden". FIFA is solid, NHL series is pretty piff recently. I am willing to give NBA a shot, just as long as they don't throw a ton of fukkery on it. Just give me basketball, that's all I want to play.

i run association trying to use every team in nba. for about 6 years or longer depending on the team i assemble

I gotta try that. It gets to a point where my player is too good and he doesn't miss shots. Thats where it gets boring to me

is there any way to change the age of the players? I tried to recreate grant hill's career, but couldn't change his age.

Current gen may flop, but plenty of people are anticipating 2K on next gen. With Live going strictly to the PS4/XB1 only, I don't see them beating out 2K this go around. Still, if EA puts out a solid product, they could make this gen at least somewhat interesting. EA not wasting resources for PS3/360 was a smart move.

Current gen will not flop. Thats a much bigger install base. Everyone knows first edition sports titles on next gen are nothing more then gimped ports. I think this NBA 2K14 will sell less then expected this year. No real reason to buy. That Lebron mode looks like bullshyt. Plus GTA online launching the same day

I think they said next gen information will be coming late this month. I'm looking forward to it because I have no intention of getting this for the 360. Wasn't impressed at all. GTA V will actually be the last game I buy before making that jump to Sony early next year.
