essentially they're saying people have a right to kill you in self defense even if they are the aggressors who started the fight.
basically the legality of lethality revolves around who happens to be losing the fight. People not gonna say it but this is essentially how Zimmerman got off.

He didn't kill him, she did. He had plenty of opportunity to do anything else except choke him. He had repeated verbal and physical warnings from a 3rd party to stop and he refused. She really had no other choice.

The real lesson is, everyone else has a gun, so you better get one. He was doing too much on the ground, but at the same time, if he lets him up, he's most likely getting shot. So the White fireman, that nobody even knew at the time, jumped in an argument between a Black customer and a cashier (who was probably non-Black), and told the brother to leave after the cashier told him to, before giving the cashier a chance to call the cops (if even necessary), so the brother could leave on his own before the cops got there, like they always do, but instead decided to play cop himself. Talking about putting gasoline on a fire. Like what was he expecting. Sound like he wanted to see this brother locked up, or worst. That's obvious by almost making him another Eric Garner. I'm sure the girlfriend was thinking the same thing.

It also appears that he followed the brother all the way to his car. So the brother was out of the store by now. Isn't that what he and the cashier wanted? I see why it was so hard to charge his girlfriend. That's probably all she saw.
