My point exactly. With all due respect to your dad...what else did he contribute to the household?
You are telling me your mother was a nurse working 3-4 12 hr shifts and was expected to keep food on the table maintain a cleaning schedule and raise two kids and cater to her husband? So much for traditional roles!
That's not a partnership...I bet there are things that your mother that you will never know.
my dad made dinner for us numerous days, drove us to school every morning, watched us when mom was in nursing school, again when mom worked nights.Don't come at me with that.

Your father, was helping around the house and did domestic things to alleviate the load on your mother. That's an exchange/partnership. And if your dad, has been faithful then that's a good family oriented man.

Yes, I would. You can say I have low expectations but a job is a job. Pay your bills, put some up.

nah i didnt get with her til i was in the $13 days.
the $10 days were rough. had to work 80 hour weeks with no OT pay to make ends meet while my ex was "going to bed early"
