2017 made it 20 years that my mother's been working in the medical field. Last few years she's been getting climbing up the ladder. Her last 3 promotions came from older black women who've looked out for her and have a vision somewhat. Since she's been elevated on the pecking order she has been suggesting other black women for promotions in the positions she's vacated due to her promotions through the years as well as other positions. Tell me why one of the women she helped is sullying her name and telling the higher ups that she's(moms) slacking on the job, it just so happen that the women who told the lie has had infractions aimed her way due to her slacking, my mother had to talk to her personally about it before. Come to find out this very same women is after my mother's very job. My mother still puts other black women on though but she vets them more thoroughly than she did before. This just a personal example and I've heard other women in other industries tell similar stories of jealousy. If women banded together ya'll could run shyt on some level, why does cattiness distort what the bigger picture should be?

Women preach solidarity but deep down dont like each other and are very competitive. As men we're the same way too but at least we dont try to preach solidarity/unity shyt. We know and make it clear that it's every man for himself.

THis is probably because women are the minority in that context. THe world is run by men so we're typically in a position of power in comparison to them thus why they feel the need to preach the sisterhood/solidarity thing t counter the oppression/dominance of men.
At least that's how i see it :manny:

So one woman out of the many black women who have helped your mom, or your mom has helped can't work with others, and that means all women can't work together? A man has never tried to make someone look bad in order to get their job?

That's only one example of it, she's helped others and they've done other fukk shyt as well. And in my OP I mentioned that women from other industries have said similar things. So what the fukk are you talking about?

I'm a breh but back when I worked factory jobs here and there to pay for school every female team lead I had was a petty bytch who just wanted to take her shytty attitude out on people. I don't work with many females at my current job but one thing I've learned over the years is that you don't wanna have a female boss it's the worst.

nah breh..... my mother been working in the medical field for a while and all the black women stick together..... like the jews LOL

my mom always be talkin bout how her and her girlfriends be finessing and holding each other down

maybe its case by case.... some people simply aint shyt

but women stick together from what I seen.... its actually MEN who cant work together

Men always tryna prove who's the alpha male and be the top dog..... women dont operate like that

thats why I rather be around women, instead of men...... women dont got ego like men
