Of course do whatever is best for you- but also take into consideration that over time, your teeth continually shift. As you get older, that space most likely will get bigger, as your laterals start to shift as well (the teeth on each side of your front teeth).

You mentioned before that you talked to your Dentist about it- you most definitely need to get an orthodontist consult (they're always free)- they're the specialists. Dentists don't have the same viewpoint and/or training.

You're gonna need braces breh.

My grill is no where near as "jacked" as yours is but I'm in the process of getting braces now. Got my wisdom teeth pulled in December in preparation for the braces and that shyt was hell.

Initially the orthodontist said I'd get Invisalign but after looking at my X-rays he said traditional braces were the only way, which kinda made me sad. Invisalign can only do a limited amount of work since it's all programmed by the computer. Traditional braces and brackets do the necessary work that Invisalign just can't do. Right now I have brackets in that are pulling my teeth on the side down so that the bite is aligned and flush.

Now people who see my teeth say I don't need it but the orthodontist discovers so much shyt in those X-rays. And while the braces aren't mandatory he wants my smile and bite looking perfect. I have an expander which fukking sucks the most. If you get one it will completely alter your speech. So just hope you don't need it. I wear bands that attach to the brackets and I'm used to it now. I don't even have the braces on yet because this is all prep work. In totally, the braces/brackets will be on for 2 years which also sucks. And once you get the process started you just gotta go with it.

I hope your insurance covers it too because it will be fukking expensive. Expect to pay 4-7gz for everything which includes the consultation/X-rays/etc. expect to pay more with Invisalign too. A lot of orthodontists push Invisalign on their teen/adult patients because of the higher profit margins.

Yeah just do it. In my case the gap in the two front teeth were smaller but my shyt wasn't crowded yet I still hated my teeth so I got the Invisalign. :yeshrug:

I got mine put on in May 2012 I think and I got them taken off in less than a year. It hurts like hell when you put the new set on and it's annoying having to brush and floss after every meal and cleaning them in the morning was a pain in the ass but it was definitely worth it. :obama:

Oh and btw if you do get the Invasalign don't get the Invisalign retainers. Get the regular ones. Those things are trash. They get chewed up mad easily and my top one broke in half and it's $250 to replace one of them. :snoop:

OP is J Cole, nikka light skinned & he got the crooked smile :blessed:

Breh do you breathe through your mouth? If so that IS the root of your problem. I looked this up & apparently mouth-breathing often distorts the natural development of your jaw/teeth & face in general.

http://www.consciousbreathing.com/articles/mouth-breathing-teeth-problems/

Also breh,
The PROPER breathing position is Breathing through your nose & having the main bit of your tongue touching the roof of your mouth,& the tip of your tongue touching your front teeth. You should make sure that both your top row & bottom row teeth are touching too. NEVER breathe through your mouth & make sure to eat HARDER foods. If you look at skeletons you never see gaps in their teeth because our ancestors used to eat HARD food & less soft foods that can be easily chewed.

ALSO if you can get braces, get em. Women are very picky about teeth for some reason.

Good luck :salute:

Don't be conformed to this world's standards. Stay unique

Don't know why the world makes it that your teeth has to be straight and gapless. How many people have that perfect Colgate smile?

If it'll make you feel better, do it!
Look into Incognito braces thats what I had. Unlike Invisalign they are really invisible and you get faster results.

I'm in the process of getting braces myself so if you feel you need them, then go for it! Luckily, my insurance is paying for half and I found the most wonderful Black female orthodontist (keeping the money in our community). She nearly brought tears to my eyes during my consultation. I promised her that I'm returning in a few months once I finish up my dental work.
