For the past couple of years I been shopping in Black businesses (80% of the time) and it feels good giving my hard earned money to my fellow peeps. When I am on the road and I am hungry I eat at a Somali restaurant downtown. If I want to buy a simple short or pants I shop at the Ghanaian store down the street. If I need a haircut I go to a barber that's owned by a Jamaican family.
In the long term, this practice benefits black business men and women and it creates economic productivity in black neighborhoods. If there isn't an economic pulse in our communities then they can kick us out of our neighborhoods (gentrification anyone?). The chinese been doing this shyt since the late 1800's and the early 1900's why? Because they faced discrimination so they stuck together in herds and formed their own communities (china towns) and this pissed off the cac's because they were only giving money back to their own communities and not the white americans/canadians.
All I am saying is nikkas need to support our fellow nikkas
