Brehs, are there any recent Malware or Trojans that have hit the internet?

My laptop has been running super slow, especially when I am playing videos. I have run my usual protection in Super AntiSpyware and also Malwarebytes. I do notice that Antispyware hasn't had any new updates in a while. I am not getting any hits on Malwarebytes and like 10 hits on Antispyware when I do a scan. Is there any threatening virus's out now I should be on the lookout for? Any advice would be appreciated.
