And the bonnet is still superior to them except probably the loc sock, I have t used one yet. Durag when I’m get my hair done, and then I switch to the bonnet like 1.5-2 weeks later when my hair is not fresh anymore. Only wear it in the house though :dame:

loc socks can be a bit too loose if you're not donning locs - some of these guys have curly fros - so a bonnet is more in that shape. a doo-rag is going to press down on your hair and a loc sock is meant to be pulled back - so the front of your hair is mashed up. But digressing - Im curious why a bonnet is so much more feminine than a loc soc. Mind you showercaps use to be cool back in the day too in certain areas.

Yea when I had twists. I only use a dread sock now.

Cause I was bout to say, how tf you fit 12 years of thick, kinky dreads under a durag or skullcap
..I’ve found that men with dreads that use ‘bonnets’ have shoulder length dreads.. Dread socks are most effective with keeping the shape/style of much longer dreads that extend down the back.

I don’t understand how durags/stocking caps are even effective for dreads unless you are in the very beginning stages
Once your hair starts to drop down under the chin into the neckline area, how tf y’all fitting all that hair under there ?:why:
