I mean it's pretty cool that someone else's life could be saved or improved with one of my organs, but it just seems like a violation in a way.

Do not donate your body to science. In my human anatomy class we were givin extra credit points for reading a medical book about the process of dying. In that medical book it also went over what happens when you donate your body to science. Let's.... Just say a big portion of bodies just goes to practicing plastic surgery. There was a lot of info on everything.. Before I read the book I wouldn't do it but based off of how they treat the bodies I definitely would never do it.

I've signed up through the DMV as an organ donor.
My body can be used to help somebody out, like ligaments and organs.
I'm not donating to science research. That's different because the scientist don't immediately use your body to help someone. They just anal probe the hell out of your lifeless body and check off checkboxes on a piece of paper.

The disturbing reality is that there is a billion dollar industry for human body parts for all sorts of purposes and products but mainly medical research.

And like all things involving money there's also a black market for it with all sorts of fukkery going on for body parts.....people can be pretty grim
