I'm supposed to be taking a CNA class on the 24th.
I'm just a caretaker right now
:mjcry:
You’ll do great, and it’s the right step towards getting a better job. Just don’t let nurses take advantage of you because they love dumping all the work on CNA.

Being a nurse ain’t for everyone. Burnout is real. Pretty sure I got my jaw fractured by a patient a couple of months ago. This ER life be crazy :skip:

I did it for 10 years, and just recently got promoted to supervisor so I'm not on the floor as much as I used to be. But man the worst part were the mental patients that'd get dropped off the interstate who most of the time never had a lick of identification....

I've almost quit a million times over dealing with that situation....

Hopefully it's not too hard to get other work.
The company I work for now deals with people with money and I've had to get denied a case multiple times either cuz I'm a male or I have no cna

The hospital is literally the dumping grounds for all the people in this society that society wants nothing to do with….I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had autistic patients held in the ER for a week because we can’t find placement

It could potentially be helpful depending on how you process things. I do agree the curriculum variances may not make it as useful. I do think listening to the Mark Klimeck lectures would be helpful during school. I used them to study for boards and I wished I had found them sooner! Really simplifies a lot of the info you'll learn in an easily digestible way.
Seconded. I heavily support Klimek and Uworld. Kaplan is garbage.

I just passed boards and I watched Klimek lectures up to the day before. That is the way nursing should be taught in school.

Niccas taking the easy way out, becoming nurses.

I remember a time when niccas wasn't this flimsy.

There was a time when black men became doctors, not nurses :snoop:
