With only a 2 year degree you can be making 65k+ a year. I know people on here vouch for computer science but health field is also a good money maker. When I was 23 years old I got a RN position after just a few weeks of applying and it started at like 67k. I hated it and dubbed it after a few weeks and got another position in a hospital making 75k. And this is all with ONLY a 2 year degree. There are hospitals that start at 90k plus but those usually require a bachelor's. But you can still apply with your Associates and try to ace the interview and work on your bachelor's while you are there. Just trying to expand nikkas horizons. If any questions ask.
I have noticed an increase in male nurses and I don’t like tbh, especially if he’s attractive. When I go to the doctor feeling crappy, I don’t want to be around males. I will request a female nurse immediately!

Have had female patients that told me they would prefer a female nurse. Also had female patients that told me they would prefer a male nurse over female:yeshrug:. Idk guess it just depends on the person.

Nurses where I work are making up 90/hr. And they're not travel nurses.

:hubie:
:whoo: Damn…I know we have travel nurses that come through making that but damn haven’t heard of a shift nurse banking like that…that’s crazy

Yeah I’ve been looking at potential jobs out there. I’d prolly do travel nursing gigs after another 6 mos to a year. How much do you need to make to live out there?
In LA comfortably, 90-120k

In the bay 150k+

In SD, 110-140k

Maybe more or less depending on how bougie you are.

If you're coming out of school, I'd personally suggest to live below your means for a bit, stack up before letting lifestyle creep kick in.

While you can make a dope salary out here and have a decent amount of discretionary income. It's easy to let lifestyle creep have you living check to check...

I ddint even know until someone on discord told me their wife was making that much.

Then went on glassdoor, and starting looking at some salaries of the hospitals in network, and I was like got damn.

Obviously these are more senior positions like a charge nurse or someone wit 10+ years experience, but still :damn:

I felt underpaid like a mofo. But then I cheered up because my work to pay ratio is :lolbron:

And I don't have to deal with patients :hubie:

Y'all deserve to get paid. I'll just continue wfh and managing data, stress free. :whew:
