I finally have have an opportunity to travel & want to make the best out of it.

I've only been out the country once & that was to Europe with my family over 10 yrs ago.

Besides getting a new passport, what else should I do?

After watching that clip of breh getting robbed in SA

What's a good spot to visit where I can get some culture and also enjoy my brothas and sistas?

Is Cape Verde cool to visit?

Don't act entitled just because you're from America/Europe. That's what most important.

I would recommend South Africa. They have the best party culture in the continent, more modernized than the others, and women are very open .

The previous times I've gone to Africa it's been with my family...I've never visited by myself

I would recommend staying away from the countries going through turmoil presently. Niger, Cameroon, etc

Besides a passport you should get a visa for whatever country you're visiting, get your shots if you feel they're necessary, and do some research into the country you'll be visiting. Don't go out sad visiting an African country where most of the populace doesn't know Engiish

Cape Verde looks beautiful and is a stable country. I would most def visit if I had the cash

Zanzibar in Tanzania is on my bucket list. If I ever get my money up I'll dip out of America and retire there

It's beautiful, truly (Freddy Mercury was born there ). Def conspicuous poverty but some world-class resorts and white sand beaches, watch out for the brehs who'll run you over in Stone Town.
