It's going to be tough because he's been presented as supernatural. The closest comparison we have is The Undertaker and I remember even when Hulk Hoegan got him back at Tuesday in Texas the match was complete fukkery.. Hoegan cheated and got a quick roll up.

Shortly after that The Undertaker turned face and he only lost to Yokozuna because it was like ten guys helping Yoko.

If Roman beats Fiend which I think it's the likely scenario, if it's just Superman punch and spear then the character is probably dead :manny:

If Roman wins in fukkery maybe Bray starts positioning himself as a face

If the answer is no, the gimmick needs to be bushed and Bray needs to be released.
If the answer is yes, it needs to happen soon because the longer it takes for the first loss, the more it's going to force the answer to become no.

Realistically though, the way to have Roman get the win is to spend the time from EC to WM having Roman go at Bray in a way where he convinces Bray to do the match as himself instead of giving that 'showcase' to the Fiend. So you can make Roman look smart, Bray look multi-dimensional as he battles against his literal own demon, and still keep the Fiend from taking a loss to the same Roman moves all the time and killing that mystique dead... or worse, you end up overbooking Roman's eighth coronation and have people turn on it.

The mistake they made was not having Bray wrestle as himself more often than not, and run the Fiend as a 'you fukked up, now I'll ascend to my final form' thing. Bray shoulda gotten 2+ months of regular work in the sweater and all. They had the blueprint already with Balor and the Demon. Now they're painted into a corner. Roman cannot be the Fiend's first loss for a bunch of reasons, but... whose gonna beat him now? Goldberg? :mjlol:

Roman could just go up to him and let him know, "Bray, brah...you're scaring all the kids, brah." and then feed him Supe punches and Drive-bys until his mask comes off like @Sid Justice.

Regardless of who it is that pins him, the mask should be the key.

Personally, I think he should lose the title in a triple threat or through some kind of technicality and let a Demon Balor be the one to put a bow on that storyline...run with the idea that you've got to be the most leveled-up (over) version of yourself to get the mask off in the first place. It'd make for a different dynamic.
