Took a bruh back to Ms. Tanya in 3rd Grade…young, thick light-skinded thang.
That was prolly my best year scholastically.
She gave me a hug when I won the first round of the Spelling Bee, so I did what I had to do -
I beat the whole damn SCHOOL in the Finals. Got a soft, warm, jumping up and down hug,
breastisis all on my face. If I was thinking I woulda grabbed that thigh.
I remember she came back from Mardi Gras with a bunch of beads, I didn’t know at the time
how the ladies got beads. When I found out much later, I almost wanted to go back to
her class with some beads.
That was prolly my best year scholastically.
