Yea Frank is the shyt, Back to Black got her the awards and mainstream attention but Frank shyts on it. Plus she didn't look like a ghoul back in that era either.

She won multiple grammy's and was Adele before Adele...Ya'll never listened to this album?

Lisa Stansfield was there first. :youngsabo:

I remember trying to tell my father and brother about her back in '06 but they wouldn't fukk with her, then when she died they tried to be somber.

Amy Winehouse - Stronger Than Me (Live) - YouTube

way more talented than people know

You live in the Camden area?

Since she has passed, I have been hearing ALOT ALOT of stories from people whether on Youtube, or the amy winehouse forum saying exactly what you just said.

I don't think this is a case of people just saying nice things because someone died, it seems that literally EVERYONE who says they met her talk about how down to earth she is.

So damn talented. Wish Corinne Bailey Rae would record more frequently

The UK makes our talent over here look so pathetic.

I heard of her.... never listened to her music though... after Cherry Wine ima download her whole disography :wow:

Yeah sorry I'm making alot of posts on her tonight, but just wanted to see how many people are checking for her, especially since I am a huge fan. She is really THAT GOOD.

Did you ever get the time to download her discography?

She doesn't just have "Frank" and "Back To Black", she also has some unreleased songs like "No More Jazz and Blues"(Money), "Procastination" "Trilby" "Beat The Point To Death" "Long Day" "Get Over It"etc,

And that first album from that singer Tyler James(her best friend since she was a teenager) that came out before Back To Black....

I'm not sure but I think she ghostwrote some songs on there

Edit: Yeah she did

Trust me, you have PLENTY of talent that's going more or less unnoticed. Some of the artists I've come across recently are ridiculously talented.

Not just UK but Europe in general. I try to update myself on new artists every couple of weeks or months and god damn its almost embarrasing comparing them to the UK.

You know whats sad Greenstrings?....Even the most poppiest Uk artist(like Lily Allen) can give artists over here in America a run for their money.

Obviously i'm not talking about Motown Legends and the old school, we both know that obviously, I mean the people in their age group.

Even some of these UK rappers......
