Lol for the holidays yes, even tho I don't celebrate them I'll still cook. For everyday no, I just cook whatever @SunGod wants and if I don't know how to make it I'll learn. I do cook huge servings for him tho he always says I'm tryna get him :flabbynsick: lol.

If you cant cook with a basic stove you aint worth the time or effort anyway

Dude I am telling you. A great deal of women all ovet america cook like this for special events on a basic over.

They just stagger the cooking and cook everything over 24 hours then re warm it in the oven.

Black Americans are weird. That looks like type II diabetic heaven. Where are the live fruits and veg? Crush soda and all that other high fructose jazz? No fruit infused water, juices, and Le Croix peach pear water. None of that looks appealing to me. Must be Southern or had Southern grandparents.

Breakfast with falafel, ful, and fruits something light. Dinner saffron rice, protein, salad, occasional desserts like pudding or baklava. Holidays are different though and we will go full "itis" on some meals.
Where are you from?

I grew up with my dad being the one who cooked just liked that. But he was the youngest in the family of older sisters so he learned from my aunts. But his meals were :whoo::blessed: as a child. Bless my mother, but she could never fully throwdown like my dad did.

I remember liking my dad's food more than my mom's as well.
