Couple of people I went to HS with recently went when Etihad Airways had that glitch on their site and the whole hood ran and bought tix to Dubai.
1 chick posted all these pictures and every picture was in the damn hotel

Like they went down there without doing any research and didn't realize there isn't any real club scene and ain't really shyt to do unless you had money to spend

I live in the Middle East so I know from first hand experience. The nightlife is not all that at all. I would take Atlanta, South Beach or Vegas nightlife over any club in the Middle East

As I understand it UAE is not as bad as saudi arabia in terms of human rights, for instance I think women can drive there and you don't have to cover up. In Riyadh stores close for 30 minutes multiple times a day for prayer (while locking you in lol). The saudis are on some other shyt

Even if you are American. The male to female ratio in the Middle East is horrible so I see why they do it because if they didn't it would be 200 men in the club and 50 women. I will say most females know this so if you go to a club you can just ask a random female if you can walk in with her and her friends and they will usually say "yes".

In addition majority of clubs in the Middle East are free to get in or you buy a membership to that club for about $30 and you can get in free for about 6 months but you still need a female with you to get in (that part had me like wtf).

This is the same for lounges unless it's happy hour which is basically 4 or 5 pm to 8 or 9pm everyday. Lounges you don't need a membership card to get in and are free.

I live in Qatar but have been to Dubai many times. It's the same in Dubai, Qatar and Abu Dhabi. I can't speak on Bahrain and Oman even though they are in the Middle East I know alot of people fly there on the weekend to party.

Not to mention drinks are expensive as fuk here. My first night out I got a double of goose and cran and it was 150 QAR. About $40 I think. Now I straight pre game.

well the praying thing is understandable (to me), I wouldn't mind the shutting down to make their prayers that's their 'thing' and I'd respect it. but from my knowledge UAE may not be 'as bad' as Saudi Arabia, but it's some funky shyt that goes on in the UAE. but Saudi Arabia (be it not for their oil/gas/money) would've been on the hitlist a long time ago, they would've gone quicker than Iraq did.
