the only fukked up thing was...his books were in such high demand, he had ghostwriters to keep up with the demand. we dont even know what books he wrote...but pretty much anything with that rl stine name on it was :gladbron:

Didn't even know about the ghostwriters. That makes sense though. This dude was cranking out roughly 100 pages every single month, with full editing and everything. Unless this dude was super high energy/coked out (which he wasn't. I actually got to meet him once as a child), that shyt would be next to impossible to pull off on your own.

did you ever read any of his adult novels?

it was kinda weird reading a rl stine book and seeing words like fukk, shyt, and ass lol

Might be interesting but like someone mentioned prolly too late now. but you never know. I used to have quite the collection back then. didn't have all but had over thirty of the books. I was an avid reader. I saw the tv series was on Netflix recently but wasn't too interested in checking it out.

never thought goosebumps tv show was as good as are you afraid of the dark

never actually read any of the books though my cousin used to by them all as soon as they released he was a fiend for them

only ones I liked were the choose your own adventure books where you flipped pages depending on the decision you made

hell naw...rl stine was the man but nothing was fukking with are you afraid of the dark.

i grew up in a big city, and when it got dark we would play baseball, football and basketball, and hide and seek and truth or dare...all that shyt.... well after the sun went down.....but on saturday nights :whew:

at 9 pm on saturdays the neighborhood was dead as far as kids go... everyone would be inside to watch ren and stimpy then are you afraid of the dark. we made sure anyone less fortunate who didnt have cable to watch these shows eat by asking our moms to let a breh come over and watch tv for just one hour. then on sunday morning we all used to discuss the episode like we discuss tv shows on the coli in the arcadium :salute:

i miss my old neighborhood...and i miss are you afraid of the dark :to:

a nikka ate good off rl stine and christopher pike (what yall know about christopher pike?) in library class and the book fairs in school...but by 6th/7th grade i was reading this shyt :jawalrus::

:wow: I always thought the The Last Vampire series from Christopher Pike would have made decent movies. His style/origin of Vampires are one of my favorites.
