People acting like Terrell wasn't a good player. He just played on terrible teams for the most part and didn't get much attention.

Imagine if thecoli was around when this article came out.

He was good....I'd put him on about the same level as a Sam Cassell.

Had the injuries, but it's not like greatness got taken away from us ala Penny Hardaway/Grant Hill.

Like I said, he was a good player, but somewhere in the mid 90's, Sports Illustrated decided to turn him into a novelty act.

He became the ultimate "underrated player".....Which he probably was....But i'm not about to sit up here and act like he was a prime Iasiah Thomas.

Mid range J was deadly, tho

naw...Sam was a much more successful, and was a better player. Terrell Brandon was the epitome of a good point guard. Steady...but he didn't lead a team anywhere.

Sam had more success, that true.

But in terms of talent, I think they're in the same tier.At the top of their game, they'll both get you about 19 & 7 to go along with a deadly mid range game.

You replace Cassell with Terrel Brandon(healthy), the '03 T' Wolves don't miss a beat

Cassel had ice water in his veins come the end of games though and pretty much infected every team he was on with unrivaled confidence.

Cassell definitely had the clutch gene, but primarily, he was a 2nd tier pg.

He got to play with better talent than TB.....Dream...Prime MVP KG...Sprewell.

I think TB could've been just as deadly with teammates like that.

He was clutch in his own right, just was never granted the opportunity to show it on the "big stage".

Cassell was thrown into the fire as a rookie. His NBA career was birthed with championship pedigree.

Playing with Dream made it easier for him to establish his confidence. You just wait for the double/triple team and knock down your shots. To Cassell's credit, he was able to do just that.

I was thinking about him the other day lol. Terrel was a very good pg back in the day. He had one of the sweetest mid range jumpers. Made the all-star team twice (no disrespect to him, but I don't think he would make the all-star team if he played in this era)

Lillard reminds me of Brandon sometimes

:damn:

This whole post is just flagrant..

Terrell Brandon sat behind Mark Price for awhile. He got his chance to start when he left Cleveland and was good for a minute but he was always a hurt ass nikka..

But its like you dudes in here be on some ridiculous Paul Bunyan shyt whenever discussing a player from the 90s..

So we gonna have a Ricky Pierce and Eddie Johnson thread now :what:

Brandon when healthy was really really good.
A lot better than those 2.
He was a quiet guy and didn't have spectacular dunks or no look passes or crossovers. Just went out there and made shots and passed to the right guy at the right time. So that's why he isn't as remembered as others but deserves to be
