I go to U Miami and theres a lot of black people here and a lot of New Yorkers. We have a big football team, nice weather, and South Beach be poppin during the weekends. If you got good grades at your cc then you could get a good scholarship to come here. It's only a 3 hours flight from NY

If u just want to party and get random chicks rutgers is prob the best spot for u. at the std rate but at least u know the chicks are down
Plus its an hour train ride to the city; but enough distance where you dont feel like u didnt go anywhere.

-If u bout that academic life more check out Montclair state or TCNJ. TCNJ is always up there with one of the best public colleges and recruiters in the area know the deal. But outside of the books campus life sucks.
- montclair is great for sciences (not sure how good its buisness school is); but the campus life is prob a level below rutgers,

I agree about tcnj, it's good academically but it's small... I imagine the party scene is boring

Can't go wrong with those schools if you're talking about business or political science. If you were talking about engineering, PV, NC A&T, Alabama A&M and Florida A&M are the best HBCUs, IMO.
