These nikkas rent out buildings, be having 2 TVs with cable and all types of fancy equiptment, with mad lights on all day

But then only charge 20$ a haircut

On top of that during the weekdays during school hours they may go hours with only getting maybe 4 customers

shyt dont add up

Must be a bad shop, most the ones I go to stay having customers rotating through
Specially if the barbers have booking apps

My brother owns one in Birmingham AL and there are always barber's looking for chairs to rent. If you have 4 chairs renting them for 400 a month, $20 haircuts plus tips, bootleg clothes and DVDs and he has a pool table that's easily enough to make it. During the week it's not packed but you got people coming in for quick cuts on lunch breaks and before work. Most barbers have their own clientel so you dont need to advertise. Get a good spot and you're money. My brothers is next to a college campus where the frats live and across the street from a hospital so he's good
