My barber told me that he was grossing a mil a year. So he has to be taking home at least 200k for himself after paying everybody and paying rent.

I don’t even question it. There’s 3 barbershops on nostrand Avenue, Same side of the street all with in 2 blocks.

Walk past 11pm on a Tuesday and each one gonna have people getting cut. It’s obviously a biz model that that’s easy to succeed as long as people like your barbers work

Some owners be extortin nggas $250 - $350 a chair to cut in their spot...:mjlol:5 - 8 chairs...high-traffic..you do the math. Most owners are typically the sharpest nggas themselves and already have a reliable clientele which is why they decided to host a shop in the first place. If the ngga doesn't cut, and runs a barbershop he is likely a hustler/entrepreneur already.

How is that extortion?

That's damn near the bare minimum of effort for cutting
