It sounds simple, but it ain't, go to work, and then go home, and try not to spend unless you have to. Been doing this, these past few weeks

The way at least 80% of Americans live is check to check…more month then money.

You need to find a trusted mechanic to do your brakes or learn how to them yourself. Pads, rotors, and a brake wrench should run you about $125 or so depending on the vehicle.

Oil change is about $30 unless you're like me and get synthetic which is about $60. Last oil change I found a deal at auto zone, got 5qts of synthetic oil, 2 gas treatment, filter, and a roll of shop towels for $30 took it to the mechanic and he charged me $15 for labor.

If you're really trying to save some bucks you have to learn how to be a grease monkey and do some of your own basic repairs (esp on an older vehicle). It really helps plus if you know a lil something about working under the hood of your own car you don't have to worry about being over charged for unnecessary shyt.

If youre making 2k a month and youre still struggling, youre doing something wrong. He needs to find a cheaper apartment, find someone who can fix his car for cheaper, and get a credit card.

2008 chevy impala

I could have got a new whip but bro....I only owe 5k on this car

I can double up payments and knock that off in a year and a half

New car, well, the car I wanted, was 25k plus the carry over from my current car.

I don't want that breh

Gonna stack up and get the car I want. 2015 Impala. Fully loaded. Better rate than what they were offering....got to bring my score up a little. I am just under 700. Gotta get it back where I was 2 years ago....need that 715 +

Yeah....I will bounce back next check but getting brakes will hurt me :mjcry:

I would have so much left over if I didn't need damn brakes
