Internet boards existed way before the coining of the term social media.

So nah, nikkas might try to treat this like social media at times, but the fundamental element of social media is that it's an extension of real world socialization. I don't get on the Coli to share any element of my real life with people, neither do majority of the posters on here.

Internet boards are social media. The only reason the term wasn't coined when internet boards were around is because there weren't enough different forms of internet based socialization to warrant creating a blanket term to describe them

Aw get the fukk out of here. Some people here post their face, talk bout their love life, message women posters, discuss shyt from the news and talk shyt. How is that ANY different than something like twitter? Regardless of what extent you participate, this site and all others like it is a form of social media.

Cuz cats get on facebook/twitter/Ig to knock hoes.

I cant see people joining the coli just to get at females, see pics and comment on said pics.

In retrospect unlike the other social media sites, thats ONE of the many reason why women just dont randomly post pics on the Coli, unlike the other sites just based on what THIS site represents (dialogue), whereas that same woman has her pics plastered on other social media sites.
