I actually think its declined a bit ... or at the very least shifted. Movies aren't as popular and its harder for one big actor to carry a big picture, and there are no more rock stars; on the other hand the internet/reality tv has made a bunch of randos/women of ill repute famous.

It's always been bad......advances in technology have just amplified everything

People who worship celebrities like that usually have boring/unfulfilling lives :manny:
I mean...we have threads on here about random shyt regarding celebs and I've just learned to ignore them.

Threads like "Tyga takes a selflie with Kendall Jenner" be 10 pages long :wtf:

And I don't see how people can read TMZ 24-7 just to really follow lives lol

I try to keep my talks on here strictly about the music, movie or actual art.

Same as it ever was in my opinion. It's just expressed in a different form in this age due to the rise of media and dedicated celebrity networks and such. I remember watching a documentary about forms of music throw the decades and with some those bands and you people doing all types of stuff that had you like :mindblown:. I'm talking like crying real tears just because some fool walked out on a stage.
