And here I am trying to get a Government Job for the State of California :whoo:

But my job has been good to a nikka and I'm thinking about staying around working with footwear after I graduate finally. I met a Nike executive while I was running a marathon in Portland last year . Picking each other's minds about shoes made me realize I can make a career as a Eacon or an executive for a shoe company or more.

I do like the job security of working for the State but I'm thinking I'm going to get tired of the shyt quick like my friends who are already working for the government. :shaq2:

Never let money control you,you dont need money to be happy.

Find something you love to do,toooooooo many people out here just working because they get a paycheck at the end of the week, thats bullshyt.

I know a cat 29 years old never worked a regular job ever,I used to think he was crazy for not working a regular 9-5 just so he can get some type of income, and he always would say when people start working a job and getting a decent or even terrible pay, their stuck and when they realize it,it's too late, they already trapped in the system.

How many people you know working a job they hate for 30-40k a year and ok with that? PLENTY,do they want better? Of course, but once you start paying bills, car notes, etc, you get trapped into a system that so so so many people fall into, they tend to get comfortable, you have some who say Im going back to school.......no your not. By the time you get tired and want better your 32 with two kids, gotta keep that wack job now,you have some people who will go back to school and improve their situations, but its not many.

Peer pressure is mutha, you got people out here who just go get a job just to say they doing something, why are you living for other people? If you truly have a dream or vision yourself doing something great, put all your energy into it,there might be struggles and bumps in the road, but if you reach the light,it will all be worth it.

The dude is 29 and making 150k a year, first job ever, and I now salute him because he didn't fall into that trap so many people fall into.

I could work a job I absolutely love for 30k,I could, but Im not about to work a job I hate for 30k,if Im going to hate a job it's going to pay.

One day your gonna get older and realize money isn't everything,it's definitely nice to have, but shouldnt control you.

That's the same as me. Once I start my job and do other things for like 10 or 11 years I'm out. I always wanted to move out the U.S. in my later years anyway. Maybe to the Dominican Republic or another island.

I used to feel like that too then I quit and started a company. It was rough the first year but its worth it to be your own boss.

Ya nikkas complaining bout your job, but I'm unemployed. :beli:
relativism :troll:

But in all seriousness, it comes down to you have to enjoy what you do. Its easy to look at someone who has the job you dont, or the house you dont, the money you dont, and say what you got to complain about. Its that element of personal satisfaction that is important.
