Do you have your CPA?Im working in accounting for the EMEA( Europe, middle eastern, African) accounts. I start the day after Labor Day. I wasn't offered equity at this point. I'll wait for a year in and then look into it.

went the traditional route, help desk, tier 2, tier 3... My last project was a big migration of over 1.3m users globally from old email system to new... Some ppl I worked with suggested I apply, got an early out of the military, and started working here in 2006
started out making 100k, 10 years, 4 promos later this is where I'm at
my suggestion to you is to try to get hands on experience at an enterprise level doing cloud stuff
I was actually considering joining the air force but I'm not sure if I can go because I watch over my grandma when needed.
