He's really an elite MC. And you can see in these joints that he can still outrap most dudes. But he doesn't have the right team behind him to help push his career where it needs to be. It's the same 573 collabos with wack rappers over generic ass beats, every year. And none of the records work. Shooting the same videos in front of the store over and over again.
Cory needs an OG who can help guide him, and get him in front of real production, and making songs. It's time to shift over to the artistry part of emceeing. Cory said he just enjoys making music and isn't worried about fame because he's an introvert. And that's cool, but I feel like his talent is being wasted because he's not being set up for success. There's no way he's not bored making these loosies with all these around the way rappers that he's much better than, over all these wack beats.
