You at a crossroads breh. In life you reach crossroads where you need to make choices. The choices you make might be for the best and then again it may not be the right choice, however a choice has to made in order for you to move on in your life. The advice I was given was when you make any choice or decision, you man up to the choice you made, you go hard to reach your goal and stick to your guns despite the adversity and challenges. Thats what will make you a man. You young and dumb breh but I give you props that you at least thinking about changing your life at such a young age. You have many avenues which you can follow but only you can choose that path, either way the choice you make and the effort put forth will determine the final outcome.

the internet
what would you be doing in the kitchen? I worked in the CC Factory for a few years as a server. A lot of cats didnt last long in the back of the house. For $8hr he's probably trying to get you a job as a cleaner.

not to be a bad influence but every restaurant (especially something like the CC Factory) has a weed dealer...that would be easy money.

You need to focus on ways to make money.
Honestly, not being in college means you have a lot of free time to do shyt...especially on the internet.

It's good that you already know that selling drugs is a mistake. If you're not careful it's a mistake that can cost you dearly. I've been in a few raids and have had guns pointed at my face because I was friends with guys in the game or trying to get in the game. So many of us get caught up by this bullsh!t that it should be apparent to any young brother that dealing isn't the way.

You might want to take your uncle up on that Cheese Cake Factory gig, just to get you out of your current living situation and back into a working mindset. I know that $8.00/hr doesn't sound much but the opportunity presented to you is so much more than that.

You also mentioned that you're a creative. Day jobs, especially easy ones, are great for creatives because it forces you to practice better time management. Not only that, but your creative pursuit becomes more rewarding as it's contrasted against the banality of a day job. Also, it puts money in your pocket that you can put toward your creative outlets.

Also, Nashville is a GREAT city to be a musician. Use this opportunity to network. I'm sure there's going to be ample opportunity to connect with other members of the Nashville scene.

Again, don't scoff at your uncle's offer. It may be the opportunity that saves your life.

Get at me via PM if you want to chop it up, breh. Life is a beautiful struggle. We are in this together. Happy New Year, breh.
