If it's just for console gaming then most consoles don't even run games at 60fps so 60hz is OK. When it comes to movies though nah.

go to your local pawnshop.. youll find some good tvs there.. got one for my bedroom 32 inch for 150 bucks.. and have my nice bigger tv in the living room

Interesting. Everywhere I read or a hear about, people say for gaming you should have at least 120HZ.
