You have to find a way to integrate it into your life plan holistically, and when you're not working make sure you're recharging the rest of the day--resting, meeting people, working out, whatever--then save up and channel your earnings towards what you want.. get that $ breh.

man starting your own business is not what most people think it is.. I mean a successful business.. you working (at least to start it up and be profitable) more than 40 hours a week easy..

It's different when your working for yourself, you'll be getting shyt done instead of looking at the clock.
I honestly don't mind getting up at 7:30, being at work at 8:30, getting off at 4:30 and having the rest of the day to do literally whatever I want to do. I get a fat check once a month, all my benefis are paid for, I travel on works dime, the longer I stay with the organization the more I make, I get a pension when I retire in my 50's, and then I can work on top of that and get more money, and I don't have to worry about if the organization goes belly up, (and the best part, I don't have to deal with the public.

No, I don't have a Bugatti, a private jet, 2 houses with garages full of exotic women and cars, but I have more than enough to be happy.
Very few people have the resources(knowledge/time/money) to start up and succesfully operate a business of their own. I think the stat was 90% of start-ups fail in the first 5 years, then out of that 10%%, only 20% operate successfully for another 10 years.
Most people don't really even do 40hrs worth of work a week, there's been a bunch of studies done on that too, but let them tell it, they're underpaid.

State Govt. Technical Manager - Grade 3
(Grades denote salary/experience range. Grade 3's are paid a fixed wage between 4,500 - 8,000/month. I came into the grade internally, smack dab in the middle of the range)
I review contract applications for businesses who want to recieve a specific ceritifcation from agencies in the state.
