Sony really knows how to capitalize off the hype of their fans. Show a kickstarter for a highly anticipated game thats 3-5 years away, everybody goes crazy and forgets the fact that a destiny expansion was the most interesting thing they had to show for this year

Sony literally has nothing until march of next year and there fan base is hyped... after that it'll probably be another year before anything else.

People bought a ps4 2 years ago talking about uncharted... and are still waiting. wild.

Sony won because they announced 3 multi plat titles, the hype for those titles are so great that it over shadows everything else.


Backwards compatibility is huge. And if sony would have announced that for ps3 and I would instantly by another PS4 and sell my ps3 now.



Ironically they didn't have anything but Horzion and Uncharted.... TLG is niche, but its Playstation so it'll get hyped up and praised.


I know some of the sony stans understand they won this E3 simply off the trailers of other companies, but a Win is a Win.



If you don't get a xbox this holiday season you lost, play your xbox 360 games on the xbox one is huge.

Shenmue 2 only released on Xbox in the states. X1 will be added later. No question about it.

Unless of course Sony steps in with the Moneyhats, but I think they woulda did that already and kickstarter wouldn't be needed

Not denying that it's not. We know Shenmue as it stands is for PS4 and PC. No other versions (right now). Depending on how the distribution and publishing will work, it may end up as console exclusive. I think it's timed at least a year.

As for FF7, the rumors on Neofag is that it's console exclusive with PC getting a piece of the pie too. It might as well be full console exclusive considering the sales history of the series on Playstation. The fact that Sony published the original makes this one a case where it could truly be a console exclusive. I think it's probably timed at least 6 months on this one.

No one wanted to fund a supposedly "niche" title, but they'd happily distribute it. Low risk high reward for Sony who I'm sure gave them SOME money to at least distribute digitally.
