I seen one running around in my yard yesterdayI was hanging in Bryant Park this afternoon and enjoying the nice weather when in the corner in my eye I see some kind of animal looking at me.. At first I thought it was a giant Rat but it actually a bunnyBreh stood there and stared at me while I was fumbling to open to the camera app in my phone, was only able to get this pic before he ran into the bushes
How does a rabbit get into Bryant Park of all placesWild Rabbits are very rare in NYC. I even created a twitter page to and try and tag Manhattan Bird Alert but it wouldn't let me tag that page
There were a bunch in queens by the cross island/belt parkway yesterday. I’ve seen them all over Long Island, especially along the meadow brook parkway going towards the beach.

But Bryant Park is smack dab in the middle of Midtown Manthattan, Rabbits don't have wings so how did it get there? It being there is what makes it so odd.

Must not be native to the area. A cursory glance of the picture presents no such evidence. Bronx rabbits are well known for their timberlands

Never seen wildlife in my life till I moved to Florida at the end of 2021 from NYC. There were literally two rabbits in my backyard a few hours ago
