nikka knocking aldi?! lol....that german food is cheap as hell for much less than other stores. When I was broke as fukk over the summer, I'd go in there with 50 bucks and that shyt would last me about 2 weeks+. My money wouldn't be that long in walmart, publix, kroger etc. Aldi is becoming my favorite store

Don't trip on the names of the shyt. Big money companies buy their shyt from the same distributors as Aldi gets theirs. The only difference is the package you end up paying more for.

take a notice when a food product gets recalled

you see the list of products and it almost always includes house brands from major retailers

take for example the 2007 Peter Pan peanut butter recall that also included Great Value, Walmarts house brand
Salmonellosis: Salmonellosis Outbreak, 2007 | CDC Bacterial, Mycotic Diseases

I picked this one because it was a single plant that had the outbreak and only included specific Peter Pan and Great Value cans

The recall does not affect Great Value peanut butter made by other manufacturers, the FDA said.
