Brehs, is a Remote start or Engine Block Heater really that important to warm the engine in the morning?

Remote Start, Engine Block Heater, Oil Pan Heater, Coolant Heater, etc etc. Are any of these things necessary to preserve any wear and tear on your car?

Got a suspicion that most of a car's problems are from cold starts. Can't lie I been guilty of just starting the engine and immediately driving after

I think it depends on the car. Japanese cars are more forgiving. German cars require constant maintenance. You need to baby the German car.

You can drive it just needs to be steady and slow at first.

You don't need a block heater unless you live somewhere like Montana or North Dakota. Cars only need to run 15 or 30 seconds to get the oil circulating and then you can drive them. You just can't drive them like Batman until they're fully warmed up.

Regular maintenance on my ride... I gotta say, I hear a difference in the engine when I start up and pull off.
It's little things when I listen to the engine. Sometimes, I let it run just to listen to it. When I let it warm up, I didn't hear what I do now.
That's not taking into account mileage and wear and tear. I don't take my car too far or drive it too hard.
Car is more responsive when I let it warm up, for me that's enough to let it warm up.

To warm up the engine no but to warm up the inside of the car yes. Goat feeling getting in air warm, steering wheel warm, seat warm.
