This is gonna seem corny to a lot of people, but I can tell you this is way more accurate than people want to admit.

CT fukkING SUCKS!! I have family there and for the life of me don’t know why they won’t leave that shyt hole! The hoods are GOD Awful and nobody there is doing shyt you rarely even get athletes that make it out of CT, no rappers singers or nothing!
Lot of rich people live there but even they don’t claim that shyt.
I spent an entire summer working up there one year and I was bored out my mind. Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun are ok. They have concerts and shyt.
Now I will say there are some bad bytches up there but they ain’t about shyt at all but doing hoodrat things. Of course this is a large generalization but it’s been my experience.
Yale owns all of downtown New Haven and you go 2 blocks past that and you are in a shyt hole.

I have an uncle and cousin in Hartford. They live in a nice ass apartment downtown but its dry as hell up there.

I went to college in CT. Our school had a program that paid students to find jobs and stay in CT after they graduated because even the kids that grew up there moved out at such a high rate. It’s the cost of living in NYC with absolutely none of the perks. New Haven is as bad as its reputation and driving down Dixwell ave after 8 is something I don’t think I would ever want to do again.
Louie’s Lunchbox and Pepe’s are my only reasons for wanting to make a pit stop anywhere in CT though

Born in raised in CT, Hartford/Bloomfield area n tbh its fine.
No big city's really, but diverse ethnicities and with them comes dope food.
