pretty much. I honestly dont want to be a burden on my kids making them feel obligated to take care of me. That shyt is selfish. I already have 1 kid. I love my son more than anything but having more kids just doesnt do anything for me when i think about it

For the longest while I was undecided about kids I thought about the nine months of being miserable.. From morning sickness to back pain.... And to be honest I'm terribly scared of going into labour.... Poping out something the size of a football!!! And I'm more nervous about being a mother.... But then I met my bf who has made me really reconsider having kids... Plus I think I'm getting the baby itch... Ya having kids is an emotional rollercoaster and such a financial cost.... I don't have children, but I don't think it's overrated. There is nothing better than being able to raise a child that ends up a loving, compassionate, mature, well adjusted adult for society.

i just answered you. The point of having a kid is to continue your family blood line. You know,the cycle of life. Most people who grow up in a family oriented environment tend to follow that tradition. I mean what kind of answer do u want?? Thats like asking what's the point of living.

I had my first child in April with my husband and it was the happiest day of my life. There is nothing like holding your child in your arms. We will have a few more children and those children will one day have children.

Years from now my husband and I will reflect on the generations of our family that we raised TOGETHER...this is what matters in the world....not fukking around...not having several children out of wedlock by several different people....not cars, clothes and jewelry.

I personally believe a lot of black folks are going to live to regret their childish immature notions of family when they are 50-60 years old.
