About time if you ask me... Good ear for beats, nice flow but that's about it. Generic lyrics.
He names a car, a city and random brands and name drops ppl in 99% of his tracks.
It's amazing how Rap has fallen off, if this guy is considered great

the nikka is so predictable, he's been putting out the same album since Trilla

Album title - some phrase related to gangsters/the mafia
- 3-4 songs about nothing with "big name" rapper features
- Maybach Music 3674965859876
- 2-3 BMF knockoffs
- some fake "when thugs cry" emotional type of track
and the rest interchangeable songs about being rich/fukking exotic hoes/living a luxorious lifestyle

I know I see it. People ain't fukkig with him as much so that must mean his quality has gone down? fakkits man

They probably gonna say the same thing about Future whenever or if ever he starts to simmer down.

"I just don't feel it anymore, he ain't the same" knowing damn well the music won't have changed a bit

it's crazy how people think the replay value isn't there when he rapping about real shyt.

these songs have literally elevated him to legend status IMO, i don't care what anybody has to say.

Yeah this last run showed a good deal of growth as an artist. I still wish he'd open up about his journey from 96 to fame but he's at least shown more than big booty bytch in a Bentley wearing shyt we can't name.

Mastermind and GFID were dope as hell.
Yessir GFID was pretty good but mastermind is where he started to lose me. Didn't have much replay value. Actually I don't remember 1 song off there other than that biggie remake he did

He had one hell of run

He's in the second stage of his career

He is no longer dictating the culture
yup, he still technically makes good music, but the problem is its THE SAME SONG over and over. people are tired of it. to his credit he's tried to surround himself w/ a young roster of influential rappers like meek and wale to bridge the gap, but they've not held up their end of the deal. or meek is on the verge of squandering his...rocky fresh hasnt matured. tracy t, fat trell, blah...he did try to originally grab wiz and curren$y, but it just didnt work out.

I guess he is getting to the point where his popularity is coming to an end, but he's still making good music. When most rappers fall off, there are several factors at play, with the inability of making good music at the forefront. T.i., Nelly, luda, dmx, etc, became unlistenable before they fell off. i still check for Ross because I like his ability to make quality records. I like the mood his songs put me in.
