As for me, a birthday present back in 2015 was my mother helping me get a LG 55 inch which at the time was the shyt and cost like 2 grand
Damn thing still chugging, it gets a cameo in my pics every now and then
I fukks with LG, but while their 4K and upscaling quality gets high ratings, their HDR output tends to get pretty poor ratings from most review sites if its not a OLED. So OP if you gonna be heavy into HDR, LG might not be the way to go if better cheaper options are better.

That's a low end TV. If that's the price range you're set on it should be ok.
