Brehs is this USB drive fixable?

I kept it in the box for a few days and finally decided to open it today, Originally it worked fine and I was able to drag two txt files to it. 4 hours later I go to add more stuff to it and both of my pc's no longer detect it.


Help me brehs, I'm on windows 8.1 and I read that 8.1 has issues wih 3.0 sticks so I'm hoping that's what it is and it isn't dead, although I doubt that's the case because it worked earlier'

i tried all 4 joints in the front, theres a few in the back but if the front ones then work then why would they work?

PNY might honor their warranty but there's no guarantee

In the meantime, both PCs detect the USB stick and I see it pop up under "devices" when its plugged in but when I click it i get the "please insert disk into removable disk B" and when I right click the drive it says 0 % capacity when it said 128gb earlier

I literally only dragged two notepad files to it and it stopped working

Never buying anything from PNY again, strictly SanDisk

Yes go ahead and try the ones in the back too. Leave it in for at least 5min each time. What messages are popping up if any? Try logging in to different accounts on your computer then putting in the usb. Sometimes it only works if some accounts and not others. Report back
