Most underused weapon in combat sports especially in MMA. When someone gets knocked out with a headshot it's for me, but a perfectly placed liver shot makes me cringe. My brother used to train boxing when he was younger but does it know just for fun. One time his trainer had me wear the body protector, my brother was 5'7 about 125lbs at the time. He hit me with a left so hard I felt that shyt through the protector and it hurt for about a week after.

I was simply doing some casual sparring with a coworker who was training for boxing. I got caught with a body shot and my whole body froze up for a bit. Kept that lead left hand a little lower from that point forward. I think that's probably the biggest disconnect from casual fans watching and the hardcore is understanding what good body punching can do.

Currently I'm loving Errol Spence's body punching. I feel sorry for his opponents taking those.

hell we had a body punching display last weekend in the salido-martinez 2 fight..salido worked that body early to the point where rocky pretty much couldnt use his legs much by the mid rounds
