I just bought a ps4... don't see how this current gen is dissapointing

Why are we calling the current generation next gen? The 360 and PS3 are the previous generation the PS4 and One are the current. Also the current generation hasn't been disappointing it's been tethered to the previous gen. The new consoles haven't sold enough to stand alone so we keep getting all these cross generation games like Watch Dogs.
