Breh's...Let's talk about why Trophies/Achievements in games and why it's so hard to get them all

I‘ve only ever gotten platinum/100% on Sleeping Dogs (Ps4), Mass Effect 2 (Ps3), and Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360). I do like to collect trophies/achievements and compare with friends, but sadly a lot of times certain tasks are just beyond my skill or patience level.

thanks to so many games having online components, it is hard as hell to completely acheive on games i bought for single player purposes. i do have a few 100% games, including a couple platinum trophies, though.

Trophies and achievements are so pointless. I couldn't care less. But if you wanna 100% a game easily just play a telltale game

only plat i got is on the walking dead game. I'm cool on finding 100 artifacts/feathers/riddler trophies etc.

yup tried the dodge 200 lighting strikes on finalfantasy x hd for a couple hours, then I remembered literally anything else on earth I could do would be more fun then this bs, goin past 9999 is nice and all but im too old and impatient these days

If I take the time to collect X amount of artifacts or something, I want something I can actually use in the game itself (like a new weapon, vehicle, outfits, etc). Not some wack ass notification

The only game I got all the achievements on was Bayonetta. Enjoyed every second of it

It's more about dedication than difficulty.

Some are annoying to get, but for me, I'm pretty much done with a game and don't feel like going back and playing it for the 100%.

I've only gotten all of the trophies/achievements in a few games:
-Killzone 2
-Ninja Gaiden 2
-Batman Arkham Asylum

I was on my way for TLOU:R but just stopped playing. Have 81% completed in Destiny and I play the shyt out of it, but there's some that I probably won't ever get just because I don't even have a clan to do them. You have to beat a Raid without Dying



I'm sure I could do it, buuuuut just annoying and I haven't tried it yet.

I only do it for the games I really like and if they're not too annoying. I really like the Uncharted series but I'll never plat them. Only platinum trophy I got right now is one for TLOU. I got one for Mass Effect 2 last gen under a different PSN name which was easy. Right now I got MGS: Ground Zeroes sitting at 95% but that one last trophy I have to get is too annoying so I'm not gonna bother.
