Ok my casual ass is back.
Copped my first bottle a few months ago (Dior Sauvage) and I’m looking for another one.
I’m thinking Versace Eros but ppl say the Flame is the best version. Thoughts?

SOTD - Fate for Man
This one is.... interesting to say the least
. I've been looking for a signature Saffron joint, so grabbed this in the last pacc, but uh, yeah, can barely get past the Indian Oven whiff of cumin that comes with the first spray. That mf heavy handed like a mf.
And then the rest of the bih is so faint or fades to black so quickly, I cant even enjoy the rest. And that's after a couple of days of sitting with it. I get a faint smell of the licorice after a few hours of the dry-down on certain areas of my skin, but otherwise, the cumin still mutes a lot of the other shyt from what I can tell.

Both are good, but I personally would not purchase neither for the summer if your looking for something to rock a lot right now. Flames is a little more fresher than the OG.
I wasn’t really going to worry about seasons and what not but I saw some posts saying energy is better for the summer?

Now Energy smells totally different from them the og Eros and Flames. That smells more like a aventus cologne clone or Mont Blanc Explorer(if you had smelled that before). I would say Enerdy would be the one I would wear for the summer.I wasn’t really going to worry about seasons and what not but I saw some posts saying energy is better for the summer?

Eros - regular, parfum - are mint and apple
Eros Flame - blood orange (and mint?)
Eros Energy - super ZESTY lemon/citrus.
Eros Najim - odd chance you find it someplace, Mandarin and Caramel (and some more Middle Eastern flavors, My personal favorite of the line, and it doesn't smell like the OG at all)
I personally hate all of them, but they're all best sellers - i.e. hoes like them.
So if you're wearing your fragrance to attract broads, stick to the mainstream/best sellers/most popular.
If you're wearing it for yourself - figure out what you like by sampling a bunch of stuff.

Mes Bisous- Passion Island
This is good. Nectarine, guava, passionfruit, ginger and lime in the opening. Instantly reminded of Tropicana fruit punch. Its a little spice hiding in the background which I'm assuming is black currant in the mid and then it dries down into a smooth vanilla that sticks around for a minute which sets it apart from most summer frags. This stay on skin for a good 6-7 hours in the heat.
Mes Bisous- A Wondrous Flight
This one smells much brighter. Opening with Grapefruit, lemon, and orange but about 20 minutes later is where the mid develops and you pick up the ginger and iris. The dry down is a leather and amber combo out of nowhere which works. I think this is my favorite from the pack. Opening reminds me of Vibrato/Tygar but the dry down is what sets this one apart. Considering a full bottle.
Lorenzo Pazzaglia-Dream Sea
The opening on this reminds me of Megamere but not as nuclear. Aquatic and salty on the opening with some green notes so it doesn't get out of control, but the mid has some rose that kicks in to smooth it out even more and then it turns into a vanilla scent on the drydown.
Unique'e Luxury-Ocean The Rive
Not what I was expecting from the name but the opening hits you with bergamot/grapefruit with a noticeable punch of basil that turns into a musk in the mid and creamy vanilla on the drydown. Really complex fragrance with a creamy base.

Cumin is a tricky note. In Wanted by Night (Azzaro), it’s subtle, just enough to add a sensual twist in the dry down.SOTD - Fate for Man

In Signature Royale X, it’s a disaster. Overdone to the point it hijacks the whole profile. goes from upscale soapy-musk to straight-up musty.
Any good summer fragrances that have came out in the last two years. I have a super deep collection but not looking for a niche fragrance. Just something that aint thick smelling like a old ass man
