I don't get how a fragrance house from Dallas, that just started within the past 2-3 years can charge 400 bucks for a fragrance.

This is the other side of the fragrance influencer madness.

You got these super expensive no-name houses on the one hand, and then super cheap Arab stuff on the other hand.

its a lot going on. sorry for the rant but damn
i like to collect stuff...hats, knives, t-shirts...fragrance is by far the most convoluted ive come into

My sense is that the scene 2 x'd with the internet, and then 10x'd with Covid.

Cause prior to internet forums or YT reviews, the way I found out about new fragrances were them pages in GQ.

Otherwise, I'm down at Macy's trusting the old saleswoman to suggest a "panty dropper".

ralph lauren polo 67 - way too strong and way too safe and the scent isnt changing at all over time 4/10

he gave me...a "half travel" of mind games prodigy i havent tried yet

this ended up smelling too feminine for me. im not a fan of rose

my son had me try ...oud ispahan. i didnt rate that one because i dont understand it. he had some amouage that smelled burnt like that oud i also couldnt rate. i dont get it ngl

he gave me a sample of a parfum de marly with that same type of smell, cant remember which

godolphin. and i actually like it but not enough to cop

I think Mind Games is overpriced with most of this shyt but if I had to choose it'd be Mind Games.
Blockade, and French Defense are my favorites from the house.
