Mail Day 😎 I luv the French Defense… but GAHHHHHHH DAMMNNNNNNNN that Blonde Amber is the best cologne I’ve ever smelt.. and I got about 80+ colognes in my collection…. WTFFFFF… am I bugging and this is some recency bias? Or is this Blonde Amber that good… I’ll revisit in a week or two… good looks brehs for putting me on… no more purchases for the rest of the year

Ocean Noir was a blind buy that I’m happy with. It’s an aquatic, blue fragrance but unlike so many in the category it’s got some depth and a uniqueness to it.

Quality juice, pressurized atomizer, good silage and the longevity got me through a workday. I can smell the transitions as it develops throughout the wear from the aquatic opening to a clean musk with a hint of sweetness on the dry down.

I don't think any of the blue fragrances market themselves for the cold weather. But Blue is supposed to be worn year round.

To define blue, I'd say blue is
  • Fresh Top Notes (citrus, marine, watery, aromatic)
  • Woody heart notes (like God awful sandalwood)
  • Woods or Ambroxan or some other "chemical" for the base
i'm fukkin tired of hearing about "blue" fragrances tbh. you hear it so much that it's useless

and smells aren't a color :dead:
