The above is my SOTD. My 1st impression was to stop and ask myself, "did I grab a decent from Tiziana by mistake?"
But the difference is, where Tiziana would turn it up as far as the projection and theatrics of it all--Creed is more polished & restrained.
I kind of wanted them to push the cinnamon a little further in the open. But after about 20 mins, the vanilla, almond, and bourbon really stuck out to grab my attention.
Overall though, it's too 'soft' for me. Too safe. I have other joints that do this a little bit better, especially at the price point.
just copped l'homme ideal cologne forte. my 3rd l'homme ideal and 8th guerlain bottle. I can't fkin wait until it gets here

I know there's no bananas listed in the notes, but I'll be damned if it doesn't give off a banana pudding essence. The more I burn it, the coffee starts to seep out of it as well. I know it probably won't be the same if and when I get a decant of it, but I'm with all the gourmand and decadent fukkery. Plus, I can think of a few things to layer it with.

Wearability - 2 out of 10 - Snow on the ground, Night at the Kennedy Center, just got a divorce and DGAF... - it's just not a lot of scenarios I would rock this.
I swear if I didn't WFH, I'd get rid of 99% of the collection.

idk why i got Vanguard, because if have Afnan Supremacy CE...but yeah smells the same [which is a good thing]
the clear winners by far in this is Forever Wanted Absolu [to me way better than Elixir] and YSL Y Iced
This gonna be the last thing i try from City Rhythm [this doesn't even smell bad but im whelmed]
YSL Y Elixir smells nice too but Iced is blowing this out the water
[skin testing Tempo on one hand and YSL Y Elixir on the other...will update]

I've gotten some VDay emails form JomaShop & ScentSplit I'ma about to look into. If JomaShop got full bottles of certain joints I'm looking for at 45% or higher like they be doing, I'ma prolly cop NGL.

If you like the OG, this flanker is the same - just a bit more woods at the opening, but a richer plum/cognac wood throughout.

Been getting some samples off social media ads like Creed Aventus, YSL MYSLF, Givenchy Gentleman Society & Amouage Reflection Man. Also picked up a cheap bottle of Polo 1 Pony Colection. I prefer aquatic and citrus notes over most the other stuff but can wear other ones too.
You got the full bottle or a decant? I have a 2ml and enjoy it, but as you alluded to can't imagine the scenarios where I'm wearing it to justify a bottle. This sample is going to last me a couple of years

Yeah, I caught it on sale for like 160/180 (full packaging).
Need to figure out if I can get transferred to London or Oslo or something to rock this on the regular

Forever Wanted Absolu, I'm not a fan of the full dry down. Opening and the mid is fire though
YSL Y Elixir, i like this all the way through. Still think Iced is better though
free samples were Jo Milano Roll it 18 which was dope [not sure if this is an original or clone] and Roll it 2 and i did not like this at all
