Oh yeah man, linear scents are clutch especially if they have good projection and scent trails. But I also can appreciate those dynamic fragrances that transition and a lot of times are also very weather sensitive depending on the time of year you wear it you might get a whole different fragrance then you would gotten in another season. This is my thinking, but as a result, I tend to prefer linear scents.
Hindu Kush by Mancera is what comes to mind for me personally. I think the opening is banging then the dry down when that incense smokiness comes to play a bit is just awesome.I can't think of anything that has a banger opening and then into a great dry down.
Mid and dry down is more important to me. But the average joe, will aways go by the top notes. Sotd Pure Tonka

		 Top, or a
Top, or a to my head & I gotta choose, depending on how long it last, I'm rockin' wit the opening. Just b/c a lot of times that's where the more 'exotic' kind of fun happens for a lot of fragrances. The dry down in most are pretty standard in tryna ground you on the earthy and/or creamy tip wit sum type of wood and/or vanilla---mayne a few added things to differentiate. It works, but it ain't always as fun as the bangers in the open (for me).
