Chanel updated their site between now and this morning, plus most Fragrance heads didn't take Org Chem 1 and 2.

I think they started watering them downI haven't tried that one yet. The performance for Creed to me is subpar for the amount of money we are spending.

! Been getting heavy compliments off of it.

I got a bottle of SWY Absolutely.
I can’t wear it in August though.
Honestly Fall and Winter is the best time for colognes but it’s so hard to find time to wear everything. There are so many good fragrances, even the stuff you love…you might only get a chance to wear it a handful of times.
And I don’t even have that many.
Some of you guys have well over 100, 200 decants and bottles. If 75% of those are fall/winter you have stuff that you actually like that hasn’t been worn in probably 2 years.
I can’t wear it in August though.

I can’t explain it well because I don’t remember too much what the others smell like.
But I’m pretty sure this lacks the sweetness than the EDP/EDT probably have. Not a bad thing. Just …it’s not quite as casual.
The DNA is there in terms of being a Bleu de Chanel. I get the leather but it’s not like Ombré Leather. It blends in with whatever kind of resinous quality there is.
I mean look. I like it. I’m gonna wear it.
But I think you have to smell it yourself and make your own choice.
When you have a mainstream fragrance as big as Chanel, a lot of people are gonna hate and say it’s overrated or synthetic trash. I think that’s a lazy take.
Is it worth $200+?
I don’t regret my purchase. I’ll say that.
But we are a bunch of guys that recognize the value of decants so it’s hard for me to say to buy this one bottle when you can spend $230-250 and get 2ml samples of like 20 different fragrances.
