Honestly I’m looking to wear Silky Woods Elixir. I haven’t really worn the decant since I got it. But now that Fall is approaching…

I almost never get compliments on my fragrances.

I think I got comments for wearing Papilefiko, Gentle Fluidity Silver, and maybe 3 or 4 others.

But it’s hard to remember.

Even if I wanted to gate keep fragrances it would be a waste of time. I’ll tell my friends what decants I am trying and they just ignore those messages in our group chat. One friend only cares about Bleu de Chanel EDP. And another guy wears Tom Ford Oud Wood if he even wears anything at all.

Most people don’t seem to care about this stuff beyond whatever is at Macy’s. And they generally get 1-2 bottles at the most.

I have a love-hate thing with Justin Copeland’s fragrance videos.

It’s become clear to me that while I respect his content, I don’t actually share his tastes with a lot of fragrances. He posts good stuff but he really seems to love these old man fougere fragrances. And maybe aside from B-612 or maybe Beau de Jour (and I’m iffy on that) I don’t really fukk with that fragrance type. This whole dry, barbershop, bush smelling shyt ain’t for me. I mean, I get a haircut, get a shave…dude I fukkin come home to wash that shyt out. Who the fukk is out here purposely trying to smell like that?

But at the same time I don’t care to get these overly sweet designer fragrances either.

I gotta find some new youtubers or instagrammers.

Ironic he likes fougere frags and has the worst line up/haircut If you don't cut that mop top BS off your skull and go see a black barber.... You know he goes to the same hair salon his wife goes to get that tragedy he calls a cut.

You're right about his choice of frags though. He loves smelling like an old man or older barbershop.

A Fall/Winter scent. Not particularly strong, but definitely there. I definitely get the "whisky barrel woods" note, and maybe there's a touch of orange.

Was coincidentally watching a comparison earlier of all 3. Reviewer saying Dukhan is the one they prefer but Qawha on point too.
